    Joblit AutoFill — Chrome Extension

    Auto-fill job applications on Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, iCIMS, SuccessFactors, and more.

    Step 1: Download the Extension

    Download the latest Joblit AutoFill extension package (.zip) from GitHub Releases.

    The extension is distributed as a .zip package. After downloading, you must unzip it to a folder before installing. Chrome Web Store listing coming soon.

    Step 2: Install in Chrome

    1. 1Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on your computer.
    2. 2Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions in the address bar.
    3. 3Enable "Developer mode" using the toggle in the top-right corner.
    4. 4Click "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder.
    5. 5The Joblit AutoFill extension icon will appear in your toolbar.
    Tip: Pin the extension for quick access: click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then click the pin next to Joblit AutoFill.

    Step 3: Create Your Account

    Sign up or log in to Joblit using your Google or GitHub account, then set up your resume profile.

    2. 2Navigate to the Resume page and fill in your master resume profile.
    3. 3This profile data is what the extension uses to auto-fill applications.

    Step 4: Generate a Connection Token

    Create a secure token to connect the extension to your Joblit account.

    1. 1Go to the Extension page in your Joblit dashboard.
    2. 2Enter a name for the token (e.g. "My Laptop Chrome") and click Generate.
    3. 3Copy the token immediately — it will only be shown once.

    Tokens are valid for 90 days. You can generate multiple tokens for different devices.

    Step 5: Connect the Extension

    1. 1Click the Joblit AutoFill icon in the Chrome toolbar.
    2. 2Paste the token you copied and click Connect.
    3. 3You'll see your name, title, and email — you're connected!

    Start Filling Applications

    Visit any supported ATS job application page. The extension detects form fields and shows a floating widget for reviewing results.

    Fill Current Page

    Click the Joblit icon in the toolbar and hit "Fill Current Page" to fill all detected fields.

    Keyboard Shortcut

    Press Alt+Shift+F to instantly fill all detected fields on the current page.

    Smart Widget

    View filled results, manually edit values, and save corrections to the Knowledge Base for future auto-fill.

    FAQ

    Is my data safe?

    Yes. The extension communicates with your Joblit account over HTTPS. Your resume data stays in your account. Tokens are hashed and never stored in plain text.

    What if a field is filled incorrectly?

    Edit the value directly in the floating widget and click Save. The correction is stored in your Knowledge Base — next time the extension will use your preferred value automatically.

    Does it work on multi-step forms?

    Yes. After filling the current page, the extension detects "Next" buttons and auto-fills subsequent pages.

    My token expired. What do I do?

    Go to the Extension page in your Joblit dashboard and generate a new token. Tokens last 90 days.

    What is the Knowledge Base?

    The Knowledge Base stores your field corrections. When you edit a value in the widget and save, it creates a rule. Next time you apply to the same ATS, that rule auto-fills the correct value. Manage all rules at the Extension page in your dashboard.
